What are good neighborhoods/areas to live in if I’m moving to Burbank?
I’m applying for a job and want to be ready to look if I have to, but there are two things that make it hard for me to just blindly choose the cheapest, best-looking, “sounds good on paper” place. Traffic and safety.
Apartments in Burbank seem pricey and I’d like to stay as close to $1000/month as possible (give or take a few hundred). Also, because I’ll most likely be living alone, I’d like for it to be a fairly safe area. But for the sake of my own sanity and because I know that I’m horrible with timing, I’m going to be honest and say that I can’t go over a 30-minute commute, including traffic. And if this ideal situation is impossible, and Burbank is my best bet, TELL ME! I really do need honest help right about now.
So, for those of you that are familiar with the area, any suggestions or advice for apartment hunting in LA would be greatly appreciated. If you help me out, I’ll make you baked goods and host a dinner/game night at my new digs if I get the job!
